Hi,

I'm trying to test Jonny under Arena, as a UCI engine. A message about not founding TBPath appears in the console: "TBPath is <empty>" ... Any idea?

Regards.

Just kidding  Thanks Wael!

PS: Hoping for the 64bit version as well.

Hi Aser,

It is of course empty as that is the default value for the TB path. Unfortunately, the option name for the TB path in Jonny is NalimovPath, which causes the confusion. However, Arena sets the NalimovPath parameter as it is given under the common UCI parameters, and Jonny does use the Nalimov TB's I checked that.

I haven't tried but I am sure if you switch off common Nalimov path then you will have a NalimovPath parameter among the Jonny UCI options which you can set.
Hi Gabor,

yes, you have right, I checked this weekend Jonny really use the TB.

Thanks!

Johannes Zwanzger wrote to me: Linux version of Jonny 4.00 would be no problem, but is therefore an effective demand for such a Linux distribution?

Any comments?

Not from me, due to a recent stroke and two shining brain tumors. :(

Only 32 bit version for now....

8-)
FRC/Chess960 support seems to be broken in this engine too.
