Shortest SWCR game played for minutes by DSjeng c't 2010!

Post by Frank Quisinsky »

Hi there,

22 moves up to mate ... a new SWCR record after around 61.800 played SWCR games! In SWCR all games are played without resign factor. I think more interesting to find out a little bit.

Here the game ...
Sjeng with black!

Hi there,

I looked a litle bit in the online database from ChessBase.
Perhaps in CBM63 are information to this opening.

Position comes from Beljawski - Short

Many games are available in the online database and in all white played ...

9. a3

My Random 4.1 book goes up to black move 8.
Perhaps directly with the first calculated move a mistake.

I played now 15.000-20.000 SWCR games with this book. I have 10 other games in SWCR databases with the same opening.

6x win for white
1x win for black
3x remis

but not such short games.

Very interesting position, should really analyze!
Must do that, but not yet.

Bad opening line for Fruit Frank....simple as that....
What opening book was used in this game :?:

Yes, you have right. 7.Le2? better for white is 7.c5! 7.bxc5 8.a3! then a good position for white. 8-)

Hi Wael,

no, no ...
Move 7. Le2 comes with an (!) CBM63 comment!
Very, very interesting move and not bad!

On the first look a bad move!
On the second in combination with 9. a3 I very very strong move!

Games in SWCR started with white move 9.
Moves 1. - 8. comes from PGN Random Book v. 4.1

The first own move by Fruit should get the (?).
9. a3 is the right move.

You can find a lot of games in player databases.
In SWCR databases too.
10 times this opening comes on the board from the latest 20.000 SWCR games with my random book.

I wrote it before.

All end positions from my Shredder Random Book v. 4.1 are checked with different engines of blunders. The PGN database I created for this Shredder Random book is available, a documentation about each working step too.

If you download the book with all working steps, you can look in the analyse for each end position. If you like control it.

This isn't a bad opening line Wael, this game will say us ...
Look here ... such problems have chess engines. No engine can give an answere of such a question like ...

Hey Fruit, please tell me ... which ideas have this special dutch line?
Fruit are thinking and thinking with the result 0,0 my friend!

Do you know what I mean.
The opinion by GMs I interviewed start of this year ...
Frank, the opening is our advantage, not important how strong is a book by an engine. In the most cases the engine understand nothing and perhaps I have luck and with the first calculated move I will get an advantage and can play remis!

Wael ... 22 moves up to mate!
New SWCR record and a very nice game!
Really great Sjeng moves!

Best

The 17. Ke2 move is particularly horrible.
I am surprised that Fruit 09_07_05 x64 plays that, and after time 1min 38sec ???
Of course I cannot check, since that version is private :o

And also 18. Kd3 is weird, none of my engines play it! 18.Kd1/f1/Nxd4 make game 3 moves longer.

Hi Jouni,

yes, I saw many of such situations in the private Fruit version.
Perhaps a Null-Move bug, I don't know.

If - mate it seems that's for this Fruit version not important ... -M8 or -M3.
