Rybka 3 still unbeaten after 2 years and 4 months!

Rybka 3 was really ahead of time when released in August 2008. So far no ORIGINAL engine has beaten it. OK Stockfish and Critter are at same level, but not stronger... Our hope is in Stockfish 2.0 and Critter 1.0 8-)

Can you plz. explain me, what is a "so far no ORIGINAL engine" ?

I hope one day you figured it out, and then you can play all the strong engines in your rating list.

Sure i see the diference, the "Tupolev Tu-144" crashed and my free engines
never crash, on the other hand my smelly fish crashes all the time,.... sorry... fruity fish.

I have played over a hundred games of Deep Rybka 4 vs. Deep Shredder 12 and R4 is definitely ahead and the better program; however, S12 has beaten R4 in several games. In a match I would definitely give the edge to R4 over S12. It was not that long ago that S12 was a true powerhouse, I really do not know what has happened to Shredder. Very bizarre turn of events :shock:
