You can probably use the standard 9v, 500 mA adapter found in many stores. However, even if you use the pictured cable, dont you need a power receiver on the board? Confused..

You need a special serial cable with a power supply connection on the PC side added and a DGT XL clock connector cable on board side. The power supply can be a standard off the shelf power supply, but be careful with the polarity of the power connector.

Interesting. Thought the clock connector would be optional and not required. Contacting DGT for clarification makes sense.
