Thorsten, what we have at CCC is a clique of Hyattian butt kissers, who will do anything their leader says and follow blindly into the fire. The group knows that individuals are wanted yet they are having another election with teams, to allow the Hyatt oligarchy to continue.

As you have noted there is a double standard on the rules. If you suck-up to the Hyattian Triumvirate you can pretty much do anything you like!

I am "bob". Sam's never given me any static, that was the name that someone created for me when we formed CCC, and it "stuck."

I don't see a problem with changing my ID to "Robert Hyatt". I've even done that on a couple of places (jamplay.com for one). "bob" has the advantage of less typing. And my real name is in my profile...

all of this anonymous/fictitious stuff certainly needs to go away.

I didn't know why we were asked for two names when I signed up. Dirt is a shortened form a pseudonym I use elsewhere and I didn't think anyone would see it. It's not like I care, though. It has become amusing, even.

Having an official poll and then ignoring the results was pretty stupid, but do you really think Bob wouldn't get elected anyway if he decided to run? I'd certainly vote for him as an individual.

i want to write , that i have nothing against bob hyatt.
bob hyatt is like ed schröder or chris whittington and many others here
one of the founders of this chess club, we all do computerchess.
and we have to be happy that computerchess still exists.

i do not share seans point of view. i do not complain about bob.
