The question of making UCI engine analysis friendly is interesting.
I think that the engine could assume that go infinite turns analysis mode on.
In this mode the engine would ideally send all the info it can, no matter if it's searching depth 1 and it should also send output no matter if it's withing the first second of search.
That IMHO would be a good practice. In theory, it's possible that a GUI would do time management itself and use go infinite/stop to play. But I guess noone does that.
Another thing is that in analysis mode the engine should also disable contempt and use strictly symmetric eval. This would perhaps require to clear hash table when the engine switches to/from analysis mode.
