No one could surpass your gracious and gallant statement facing the common destiny that awaits us all.

I am at complete loss for words. Please don't give up the hope, perhaps some new treatment will appear.

Also let me borrow the entire Graham's message
Graham Banks wrote:It's really hard to know what to say Don, except to wish you the very best in your continuing battle against this nasty illness, as well as thank you for your tremendous ongoing efforts with Komodo.

Sort of puts things in perspective for all of us though. Life is way more important than computer chess.

Much respect,
Graham.
Except that sometimes I still think computer chess is more important than life.

But you guys are a little bit of fresh air...

Take care,

I wanted to respond individually to each post and each PM and email too but there are too many to respond to. I just want to say that I am touched by the responses and really appreciate the support you have given me with all your kind comments.

Anyway, I have NOT given up and I am by nature an optimist so I still have hope.

Don
Capital punishment would be more effective as a preventive measure if it were administered prior to the crime.

Too many already? Well, here's another one wishing you the strength and the time to do what you want to do.

Hello Don,
Sorry for my bad english.
During all these years I have followed your work, and that of Larry.
Only i want to say that I estimate you very much and believe that both have done a great contribution to the chess community.
I hope that you are going to win the battle to your leukaemia and could continue developing new versions of komodo.
Best wishes

I hope you get better and do what makes you happy. Do what makes you happy.

Sure, believe in Fern's rays. If you believe, they might work.
