I tried that, but Arena complains the module is 64 bits and the OS is 32 bits and says it can't load the module.Jhoravi wrote:AFAIK that new Intel quadcore CPU is 64bits so it has room for improvement if you use Stockfish 64 compile.JuLieN wrote:FWIW, Stockfish 32 bits, running on a Lenovo Miix 2 10 tablet (4 cores, Intel x86 Atom CPU), runs at 915.000 NS.
It's a tablet but it's a Wintel X86 device

OK it means your Windows OS is 32bit. Just update it to 64bit and run Stockfish64 again. I'm interested to see how much % is the 64bit gainJuLieN wrote: I tried that, but Arena complains the module is 64 bits and the OS is 32 bits and says it can't load the module.

I wonder if the soon coming N1 tablet from Nokia will finally dethrone Apples' superior offerings when it comes to chess. It has a 64 bit quad core Intel Atom with 2mb of L2 cache. The Z3580 is clocked around 2.3 ghz and this tablet is beautiful and cheap. I am wondering if the U.S. will get it. Here are more details about the chipset:
