Re: On-line engine blitz tourney March
Did you know I once missed my trans-Atlantic flight to Boston/Amsterdam because of this in San Diego? I was flying on the day that DST started (April 7), and no one had bothered to inform me of that fact. Of course all clocks in the shop windows I encountered on my walk to the airport were still showing winter time, as no one had bothered to resync them on a Sunday morning...

No surprise at all. Americans are terrible at a lot of things.hgm wrote:Did you know I once missed my trans-Atlantic flight to Boston/Amsterdam because of this in San Diego? Did you see my other post about my password not working for your ICS server?

Re: On-line engine blitz tourney March
I hope that participants next time sign up one copy of a given engine, tell whatever it is in the finger notes (particularly if it is not obvious from the name handle), and most importantly, kibitz. I do not think I am alone on this "wish". It is important to compare the thinking process of both engines on the fly to detect problems. If we cannot see that, half of the fun is gone.hgm wrote:unthinkable was a Stockfish 6 on an 8-core ZeonCode: Select all

Thanks HG for joining Numpty, sorry for non-attendance - Dad's taxi on an unscheduled call out!
