MAGNUS CARLSEN'S MAGNIFICENT BLINDFOLD SIMUL

Post by FWCC »

On 10/6/2015 Carlsen played five opponents blindfolded at the Hofburg Palace, in the center of Vienna on October 6th.Magnus and his five opponents each have just 12 minutes, so the total time of the event should be around 30 minutes. This has ever been done before. It seems they are looking for a better way to relay and play the moves more efficiently.A very impressive feat by Magnus.Magnus won 3 and lost 2.

impressive indeed

the two losses were due to running out of time in a clearly won position
