Soberango 0.07.4 realized.

Previous versions of Soberango did not uses Alpha Beta prunning as I thought! Just uses "shallow cutoff".*
Now uses "deep cutoff" algorithm that, as far as I understand at least for the moment, produces the same number of cuts in search tree than Alpha Beta.
For the moment the tests gives a little better results than version 0.07.2 with just shallow cutoff.
*: thanks to Matthew R. Brades; Rasmus Althoff; Karlo Bala Jr. ; Sven Schüle and H.G. Muller to help me to see it. :)

Soberango 0.08.1 realized.

Now Soberango have "moves ordering".

I have this implemented since some time ago but just now found a bug that made it play worst than without moves ordering version.
Now plays better than the without version thanks to reach one ply deeper in search in midgame around 50% of the time in 40/4 time control even being its speed lowed down from about 600Kn/s to less than 200 Kn/s.
Next step is to try increase the speed improving the moves ordering algorithm.

Soberango 0.08.3 realized.

Improves a little in moves ordering algorithm´s speed (results in between 5% and 10% faster overall engine speed).

No apreciated changes in skill level anyway.

Soberango 0.09.0 realized.

Now Soberango have quiescence search.
I think I have things to improve and fix in QS but yet is a little strongest than the version without it.

Engine calculates but doesn’t move when starting a game. Anyone else have this problem with Soberango?

I am experiencing a similar issue, when using a sudden death time control or a time control with an increment. Soberango 0.09.2 seems to work fine if I use a time control of x moves in y number of minutes. I am using Arena as my GUI.
