Missing info for SjaakII: it is open source (source available) and has supported CrazyHouse since version 1.0, which is apparently from 25 March 2015 (actually it was supported already in the first beta release, which is from 19 November 2014, almost two years ago).

From my own chronology I see Sjaak II is a special case ;-)
For clarification therefore, was Sjaak already ZH before Sjaak II,
or with the incarnation of Sjaak II?
If not, was the beta you mentioned 1.0 beta or just beta?

SjaakII was the first version that supported Crazyhouse.
SjaakII is certainly the successor of the older Sjaak. Whether it's a new version or not can be argued either way. It shares many of the same concepts with the older program, but none of the actual game-playing code.

It was just beta (actually beta1). It went through a few beta versions and "1.0 RC x" versions before 1.0.

EDIT: forgot to mention, SjaakII can use both CECP and UCI protocol.

Certainly.
It can use UCI for any variant it knows how to play (of course whether the GUI supports that is another matter).

Currently I am adding a table for Crazyhouse programs to the chronology.
If you or other concerned authors can help with missing infos, please mail me to rwbc[@]gmx.de or send me a PM.

The table below is the biggest part of it and the most difficult infos to find are for columns E, F (1st version released, date of first release).
Of course this means only the date for crazyhouse. The other columns are not difficult to fill, if not already done.

Note that there will be a few changes to the 'normal' chess table.
I removed the TB column, allowed private versions (if a released one is available too) and added an additional work column, which was necessary...

Questions and suggestions are welcome.

Can it run under cute chess gui on windows 7? If so and you would agree I will include it in the up coming zh computer championships.
