Why play online?

Post by Henk »

In this position I played b3-b4 and my opponent played c4xb3. Both didn't notice. At least I did not. By the way b3xc4 probably would have been a better move.

Time control 1:40 for forty moves.

This game wasn't played online. But it is a reason to play online because there they check invalid moves.

If an online game should resemble a real life game perhaps it shouldn't check illegal moves as well.
