Does it make sense to count space. For instance it overlaps with mobility and pawns after fourth column easily get weak. Also if they are part of king shield their value affect king safety.

Can help, but at least in my tests the win is relative small. So this needs some long testing.

I can imagine that a4, b3, c2 and f2, g3, h4 formations can be an advantage near end game.

And pawns on sixth row can be annoying too.
