Cute Chess 0.9.4 released

There was still a really nasty bug causing crashes in tournaments so I've made a bugfix release for 64-bit Windows and Linux: https://github.com/cutechess/cutechess/ ... /gui-0.9.4

There's also a bonus feature - support for the "UCI_Variant" UCI option.

I just started to use cutechess-gui, 2 remarks about pieces graphic : Queens are a bit too small and pawns are a bit too big.

Under the Tournament tab the Stop and Results lines are dangerously close to one another. Until resuming a tournament is possible it would be useful if it asked "Do you really want to stop the tournament?".

This was already implemented.

I've loaded a pgn testsuite of short lines of 100 openings.

I want to play 2 engines against each other with each opening played twice (once for each side). I've selected:

- Round Robin
- Play each opening twice (tick!)
- depth set to 20 plies, although all the lines are shorter than that (is that ok?)

What do I put for:
- games per encounter?
- rounds?

I just want it to play out the pgn file.

Normally you would set "games per encounter" to 2 to play each opening twice. But in a two-player tournament you can also keep it at 1 and set "rounds" to an even number. The total number of games in a two-player tournament will be "games per encounter" multiplied by "rounds".

Without checking this whole thread the latest console version seems to be 0.8.5 but I can't find a Windows download with executable.

The 0.8.2 version I am using scrambles the PGN output.

This wasn't the case in the 0.5.1 version I have been using years ago.
