asmFish 240417 vs Komodo 10.4

Post by beram »

On two systems i5 4200 2cpu and AMD Ryzen 8cpu I have played two matches of 100 games with own testbook of 25 lines

Result both matches won by asmFish with 61% +29 - 7 on the i5
and with 59,5% +27 -8 on the Ryzen1800 (drawpercentage 64 and 65%)
Especially with black asmFish 240417 is scoring much better, +12 -1 on the Ryzen and +18 -2 on the i5

Code: Select all

K10.4 - asmFish 240417 i5 4200 2x, Blitz 3m+2s
1 asmFishW_2017-04-24_bmi2 +78 +29/=64/-7 61.00% 61.0/100
2 Komodo 10.4 64-bit -78 +7/=64/-29 39.00% 39.0/100

K10.4 - asmFish240417 AMD Ryzen1800X 8x, Blitz 3m+2s
1 asmFishW_2017-04-24_popcnt +67 +27/=65/-8 59.50% 59.5/100
2 Komodo 10.4 64-bit -67 +8/=65/-27 40.50% 40.5/100

With black asmFish played an outstanding model game
A typical black win which should really please the Kings Indian adepts
With a black pawn storm and a crushing knight sac in just 28 moves white is wiped away

Hi Bram,

Thanks for your nice tournament :!:

I hope you know that BMI2 compiles has some problems on Ryzen cpu's at the moment..and you will get better results with a popcnt version..
Check here my last message with some benches : http://www.talkchess.com/forum/viewtopi ... 4&start=60

Kind regards,
JP.

Cute game!
Maybe a stunning flagship game. But some top human players could have played the Knight sacrifice too.

I have replayed match on the Ryzen at TC 15m10s
Outcome much better now for Komodo 10.4
asmFish wins by +15 -9 =76 so 'just' a 53% win for asmFish
