Looks like last changes were even worse than I thought. Obsessed by nodes per second but for instance Skipper unable to finish KQq endgame.

WaDuuttie's greatest achievement this time was the (somewhat lucky) draw against Texel in an endgame with a pawn less. In this position:
[d]8/8/KPb3R1/2k4p/P1r5/8/2B5/8 w - - 1 57
Texel played 57.Rg5+ allowing WaDuuttie to draw. The winning move (I think) was 57.Ka7!

Texel played 57.Rg5+ allowing WaDuuttie to draw. The winning move (I think) was 57.Ka7!
I also think Ka7 is the move needed to win, but it seems from my analysis that the game did not turn into a draw until 59. a5? was played. Before that move I think it would have been possible to force a repetition of the position at move 57 and then play Ka7 instead of Rg5+.

Anyway, the source of texel's problem seems to be the static evaluation of this position:
[d]8/K2k4/PP6/8/7R/5b2/8/r7 w - - 1 64
Texel thinks this is +3.60 for white, because of the connected passers supported by the king. The correct evaluation is 0 though because there is no way to actually make progress.
