It looks to me like Asmfish is fantastic!
But if it is indeed true that Komodo has closed the gap between itself and the SF which won TCEC 9, then i i would like to congratulate Komodo for doing so, and i acknowledge it really DID keep its word to add at least 5 elo per month!
The only thing is, it shouldn't stop now. It's doing very well!

But in a recent thread they (Lefler, Kaufman) said it is now as much as it will be improved for the time being. If so, it is clearly not going to be top. Perhaps it might beat SF, but certainly not Asmfish.
Could you direct me to a post by either me or Larry this? Perhaps something was unclear. We have continued to work on Komodo and our current development version is quite a bit stronger than Komodo 11.01. If I was supposed to stop working on it, someone forgot to tell us!

Maybe i was thinking of this: (see last line)
Maybe i read into it what it didn't say.
Sorry!

Komodo 11.01 is being released today at komodochess.com. It was made available yesterday to subscribers, but those who dowloaded it should download it again now because we made a slightly faster compile and because the readme file was not ready yesterday. Pricing is the same as for Komodo 10, which should go on sale shortly with Komodo 9.02 becoming the free version.
ChessBase released Komodo 11 a week or so ago but right after we delivered it to them we found a couple minor search bugs and so decided to skip over Komodo 11 and go directly to the corrected version 11.01 which has a couple other improvements as well. We understand that ChessBase will switch to 11.01 and upgrade their customers for free.
We estimate that Komodo 11.01 is about five elo stronger than Komodo 11, about ten elo stronger than our last release Komodo 10.4, and about 55 elo stronger than Komodo 10 at intermediate time controls. Testers should test 11.01 now that we don't anticipate any further corrections.

Thanks for finding it. Larry meant we do not anticipate any more changes to Komodo 11.01, so testing groups can start testing it. We do intend to release Komodo 11.1 and so on as we find elo and add new features. Development is continuing, and going quite well.

Thanks for the match and the games, Bram! The high number of wins in this match is encouraging, as well as the games themselves: many interesting fights. Of course I wonder if this is, because it was a blitz match, or that it can also happen in matches with LTC.

Below a few remarkable games from this contest.

Game 56: after just 6 plies of theory both engines surprise to come up with the razor sharp Botwinnik variation of the Anti-Meran. Amazing! The game is a fantastic fight, eventually ending in a draw. BTW, in game 4 we also get the Botwinnik variation by Stockfish, this time only 1.d4 was a forced move.

Game 17: After 5 forced moves both engines play the main line of the Ruy Lopez and Komodo surprised by uncorking the Marshall gambit! Now that came as a surprise :-). Great game, ending in a draw after some nice sacs by Komodo.

Game 28: Another huge surprise here, as Komodo prefers the Smith-Morra gambit 4.c3!? over the usual 4.Nxd4. As the game goes, white has no troubles to equalize and draw the game.

Very nice examples Jeroen
'They' don't need us for interesting opening play

and about the knight sacrifice Nf5!? in the KID I have quit a few example games from my matches between Stockfish dev's and Komodo versions
I cannot remember to have seen that sacrifice in the KID in GM games but I haven't searched for it especially in my databases
