AsmFishW hashes, a bug?

Post by Rodolfo Leoni »

While on search AsmFishW hash size starts growing without any reason...

I tried to let engine searching about half an hour and it grew about 200 MBs!

This happens to Stockfish 8 and Komodo 9 too, but other engines don't "assimilate" my RAM. Then, it could be a technical breakthrough... or a common technical bugthrough...

If you're using syzygy, TB hits are cached in RAM, and it's normal to see it slowly grow...

You're right. I tried a search without SyZyGy and they don't eat my RAM anymore...

Thanks! :)
