Actually the ICS does record score/depth and time as comments with the games, but unfortunately the smoves command does not display those (as the prescribed output command expected by the clients is not PGN). There is a command to mail games to yourself in PGN format ('mailstored' IIRC). Those would contain this additional info.

But unfortunately, ever since I moved to the VPS, mailing from the ICS has not been working, as I could not use the smtp server of my normal internet provider anymore. To fix that has been on my to-do list for a long time, but I lack the Linux expertise to set up my own smtp server. I also have a provider-independent e-mail address, however, and it should be willing to process deposited mail from any IP address, as long as I provide the right password. Perhaps I could set up the ICS to use that one. Although I am also not sure how to do that. IIRC the ICS code came with a script that you could run as a daemon, which was using 'sendmail' on any file the ICS dumped in a certain spooler directory. (I am pretty sure there will be lots of files waiting in that directory by now...)

Added a check to king safety and center control. Previously Skipper would have been brutally slaughtered by a vicious king attack. Might also be that KingSlayer chose a non-aggressive opening. For instance for a king attack you need a bishop on b1-h7 diagonal and not on g2. Also Queen-exchange helped.

You can retrieve the games using history and examine.

Very useful. I wasn't at home for the tournament so I didn't know Nirvana's game results until now:

Seems I never got to play Texel, assuming I did that correctly.
Thank you for running Nirvana in these monthly tournaments! Some fairly decent results here.

I need to rewrite Skippers SEE and SEEMove. I think they contain bad code. Something wrong there.

Useful, perhaps. (You are the first in all those years to ask this, which makes me wonder how many users there would be.) To do it by hand would certainly be a tedious task, as the ICS doesn't support any command for bulk-download of games.

I think there exists bots, however, that you can log on to the ICS during a tourney, and which then automatically request and save every game of the tourney as soon as mamer reports it finished. I don't have such a bot. but I vaguely recall Joshua Shriver made one.
BTW how far back does the history of games reach? I would like to collect as much games as I can get from previous monthly tournaments :)
The history goes back 40 games. This is already a change I made from the original ICS code, which only keeps the 10 latest games. The system is such that games have a two-digit number, which wraps on reaching 99.
Ok, it really seems tedious to collect the games for now.

Anyhow, if you won't mind I will set up some page at rwbc with all previous results and a few stats etc.?
Currently I have already collected manually all results from all your monthly tournaments plus important comments (and a few table fixes).
Two or three did not happen for various reasons.
My current count would be 97 (excluding the 'inofficial' test tourney for the ics bugfix), which means
in November there would be a nice 100th jubilee!

If there would be interest in the games, all participants ever could mail
what they have so far and I would clean up and publish them...

Congrats for that long time running tournament and your work on it.
Note that I missed most of it due to my long abscence, thus it may seem
my wish for the games came out the blue.

Nemeton held The Baron to a draw. One of it's lifetime high's. :D

Interestingly on only one cpu and most of it's reductions and pruning ripped out. Came to the conclusion my reductions/pruning didn't bring anything but extra code.
Searching 12 ply like this is tactically very bad but positionally very good. Suddenly my evaluation seems much better..

Good and funny tournament , Isa made me happy by beating Floyd :) (an engine stronger than Isa by +406 elo , see the 40/4 ccrl list ).
Of course its a lot of luck because the chances of winning one games vs a +400 engine is around 8% !

Damned I had a copy/paste error in my 'manual' count.

Exactly this last tournament was already the 100th monthly blitz tourney by HGM!!
