this is my last move for today.

SF is very inconsistent.
it should say at last is it -80 or -60.

I don't know if it makes sense to play that any more, for me it is an obvious draw.

no side can break.

only possible break in the position is b6-b5, but that is completely impossible in practice, as the black king gets exposed.

so, it is 0.0, and from now on we will just be shuffling.

Good game!
many thanks for the game, Louis!

you are a good friend and a good operator.

SF is 100-150 elo stronger from the last time we played, I am also 100-150 elo stronger, but it is not easy to win a game from SF, starting from the very opening.

humans are bound to lose their concentration/play suboptimal moves at times.

this time I did not manage to show the Winaver is very favourable for white, but SF played all the best moves, castling long, f5, etc.

had you played short castle, I would have showed a win, but maybe this was better, as we investigated an univestigated game.

I am completely certain in the future the Winaver will be categorised as lost or almost lost, just wait for another 20 years to pass. :)

Isn't it that castling short is almost always too dangerous in the French when closed position and pawns white d4 e5 pawns black d5 e6 etcetera but no black pawn on f5.

it is, but theory/engines/humans don't think so.
