Houdini 6 Caused Exception Error

Well, I have Nalimov installed but not sure what that has to do?

Houdini occasionally crash when probing nalimov, e.g this endgame.

The reason why i use DTM format is for Chessbase's Let's Check Database, where PV get cached with exact distance to mate over syzygy's 138.XXX

Only flaw of syzygy is no DTM information, thereby using nalimov.

Additionally endgame studies ignore 50-move rule.

Well in my case, it seems to crash right after the opening.

Bigler: try probe nalimov in that endgame position above.

I experience crash on multiple computers.

When you have a problem that you can reproduce, if you send the exact conditions that cause the problem to the program author it is very likely to get fixed.

Tried, but while i can easily replicate the issue, it doesn't generate a logfile.
(Using Fritz 14 GUI on playchess engine room)
Seems that the issue is happening at the end of the opening book.

I can however analyse for hours without any problem

From the additional reports we received it appears that the issue is strictly related to the "Houdini 6 Pro" compile. There are no problems with the "Houdini 6 Standard" engine.
We're trying to understand the origin of the problem, and intend to release a fix ASAP.
Until the fix appears, if you're experiencing this issue, please use the "Houdini 6 Standard" engine that is also installed in the Houdini 6 Chess folder.

I tried to activate the UCI log file like you wrote , but to complicated for me , on the other hand i only had one time the exception error , the one i reporterd here before

After that i did a lot of things like OC the Xeons to the limit whit hypertrading and without on 2 duals , but had no exception error no more for the moment , after a lot of games

so lucky me

If the error show up again i will let it no
