Any ideas?
Maybe to ask friends?
Or chess club members?
More youtube videos about Zero with the how to getting startet link?
Or write an article on ChessBase and Chess News...?
More than one week ago, we had 800 active users and 400000 games per day.

Now it's about 200000 games per day. Since speed, after the bigger network update, has been halved, i find the difference logicalHai wrote:Any ideas?

About the users it's logical that people to try new things and then get bored with them. Only the one's that are really interested for Chess, Chess engines and the project, would stick.

I confess, I can't get excited about this, given the current low level of play.

I'm quite the opposite, seeing the steady growth week after week, wondering how far we can carry it. All without having to come up with hundreds of hand-crafted evaluation tweaks to test.jdart wrote:I confess, I can't get excited about this, given the current low level of play.

But I would say, the sky is hardly falling, and the level of support it gets now is pretty substantial.

1. Make a setup package of the LCZero client that installs in few clicks and automarically configues for the system of the ordinary humans.
2. GUI board of the live training games in action for amazement to the contributors.
3. An article about all of these at chess.com

Low? On my machine LCZero is beating Colossus 2008b (around 2650 elo CCRL), which for a 2 month old engine is remarkable.jdart wrote:I confess, I can't get excited about this, given the current low level of play.

With time control 150m + 15s Zero can draw very often vs Stockfish.main line wrote:Low?!
