Re: NICE predictions for Ethereal 12.25, SlowChess 2.2, Igel 2.50 and Wasp 4.00

In my self tests, Igel 2.5.0 is around 70 elo stronger in 10+0.1 and around 40+ elo stronger at 60+0.6, so I am curios how this will hold in rating lists as well as with NICE framework predictions.

Re: FGRL rating lists - Winter 0.8, Pirarucu 3.3.5, Marvin 3.6.0

Hey Jonathan, Thank you for testing Winter at LTC! It kind of fascinates me how Winter is between Texel and Igel in the rapid list which are 129 and 94 respective Elo above it in the bullet list. To me this is a "Winter magical trick" each time I am testing Igel vs Winter :) In LTC it is quite stron...

Re: Time per move extraction tool

I see Igel is involved :) What's it's time per move? I never tested time really well, just went with a hunch in my formulas.

Re: New engine releases 2020

Thanks to Andrew Grant and noobpwnftw, I have access to the necessary resources. :) With an access to OpenBench resources I think you will reach 3100+ quite easily, as the biggest challenge for "simple mortals" is the access to computer resources, it is indeed especially hard after 3050+ to get som...

Re: Introducing Igel chess engine

Thanks Wolfgang, https://cegt.forumieren.com/t1188-for-the-best-versions-list#2553 Actual opponents are a bit too weak for Igel, but Deep iCE 4.0 as next participant will probably be on same level. Actually Rodent is quite strong, I think on the same level as Igel 2.4.0, so I am curios if the differ...

Hey Alex, Here is the new version of my engine https://www.dropbox.com/s/hyyk3pcpqn01ehz/booot6_4_release.rar?dl=0 Thanks for the new version. I will do my best to test it before the next update in CCRL 40/40. P.S. It will be nice to have booot as a github project as opposite to downloads from a dro...

236 Igel 2.4.0 x64 1CPU: 3020 - 1120 games (+53 to v. 2.3.1)
Thanks for testing Igel :) This result is from a CEGT 40/20 list with ponder off, right? The +53 elo is more that I expected :)
