Re: LCZero starts with an opening disadvantage..................

Check out the last game that Lc0 beat SF in at TCEC ... incredible opening play. Totally destroyed SF by giving up a bishop and then going down 3 pawns so that it could keep the rook on h8 out of play for enough time to create a winning advantage. I have never ever seen an engine that can play the ...

Re: LCZero starts with an opening disadvantage..................

I am sure you can configure a book for Lc0 that would easily beat SF with even its best book. Lc0 seems to be easily able to outplay SF if the position is stable and not very tactical. I highly doubt it. I truly believe that it is better if there are only 50 openings for the 100 games played at TCE...

To kick someone out, they have to violate the charter.
It really is that simple.

You can't kick someone out for being annoying.
I am 99 % ready to add him or her to my ignore list.
I already did too, he is out of my ignore List :D

How much humans can benefit from watching engine vs engine matches?

I know that people like Graham who has observed thousands of engine vs engine games has benefited and probably has gained a few hundred rating points, but there is no limit and even the top 5 GMs can benefit a little by simply watching for instance LC0 versus Stockfish 100 match games. https://tcec....

You as a moderator can't you kick him just out of this forum? Annoying to read this childish bullshit. ./Andreas the only person that talks insulting when answering any question or post when he has more information about the subject is HG Muller.
