Re: Where did all these 3400 engines come from?
I'm guessing this was supposed to be analysed without tablebases because brainfish finds it pretty quick with 6 man :) New game Line rk6/p1r3p1/P3B1Kp/1p2B3/8/8/8/8 w - - 0 1 Analysis by Brainfish 220819 64 POPCNT: 1.Bd7 b4 2.Kf7 h5 3.Ke7 h4 4.Kd8 b3 5.Bxc7# White mates: +- (#5) Depth: 245/10 00:00:...

Re: Bin book adapter?
Great the issue was fixed. Idk if the issue was with your particular cfish binary though as cfish uses bin books for me with infinitychess GUI if I supply the full path. For example: C:\Chess\book.bin No need for me to move it to any place special as cfish is in the directory: C:\Chess I use my own ...

Re: Honey-XPro Release
Hi Mike, interestingly, for stockfish it's really just as easy as swiping a few files from brainfish like tt.cpp, tt.h, and a couple more possibly (i have a txt file for adding it to stockfish - and last i checked it still is the same process, which was maybe a couple weeks ago) But yea, simply swip...

Re: New Ethereal
I compiled a popcnt version. It seems to work fine, but kinda strange that it compiled it 1 second... with stockfish it takes about a minute. But I ran it in the fritz GUI and everything seems fine, I get 18,000 knps with my ryzen 1700 using 16 threads. I uploaded it to zippyshare if anyone wants it...

Re: Honey-XPro Release
@WuShock,
I noticed that too, and I tried compiling it without all the "var" options and it worked to restore that slot. I upload it to zippyshare here in case you or anyone wants it. (This is just the POPCNT version for windows x64)

Re: Honey-XPro Release
is it possible to add support for large pages? I tried to but it seems a bit different than adding it for stockfish i got a bunch of errors. Would be great!
And cool engine, being able to use 3 books is awesome.

dual channel vs single channel ram
does it help with engine performance in any way? Wondering if I should upgrade my laptop with another 16 GB and if it would help at all with analysis and just performance in general. Thanks!
