Chess Fighter - wins against Stockfish, Fire...

Hi all, Chess Fighter is getting stronger now. It's had quite a few draws against Stockfish 10 recently on 2 min + 3 sec tc's. It also had its first win against SF10 a while back (though it hasn't won since). An important milestone for any engine! Against Fire 7.1 it's clocked up 3 wins. I've not do...

Re: Chess Fighter 2.0 release

On my pc the engine crashes at once. After I have copied the cuda.dlls from LC0 Folder into ChessFighter Folder: the engine starts :?: And it works fine right? Chess Fighter comes with cudnn64_7.dll, cudart64_92.dll and cublas64_92.dll which seems to work fine for some people though not others (unf...

Re: Chess Fighter 2.0 release

Hi all, quick notification. I've made a small change regarding the default value net that Chess Fighter will use. Upon loading it will now look for a file named v_8x128c_6756.dat by default (i.e if no command line is entered). I've replaced the uploaded zip file with a new one of the same name. It's...

Re: Chess Fighter 2.0 release

Dear all, Chess Fighter 2.0 is now available. Here is a link to a zip file containing all the files: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1i9CTkSl7_UmQsTd9EhTxW47xrfCeeynq I've managed to implement most of what you expect from a UCI engine. Time controls: blitz, fixed time, infinite analysis, fixed nod...

Re: Chess Fighter 2.0 release

You will need a GPU with at least Cuda 9 installed. Thanks. Where can i find that? Any concrete link to download them? OR since Leela got permission to have the appropriate dlls distributed with her, is there any chance that putting these 3 dlls of Leela for CUDA and cudnn in a folder with Chessfig...

Re: Chess Fighter 2.0 release

Works fine under Windows 10 with a 980 TI in cutechess with 4.5 up to 5.5kn/s but not under Arena. Arena's debug endlessly shows ". \n . \n . \n" (\n is a new line). That's because Arena thinks it's another engine using winboard protocol. Just change it manually to UCI and it will work fine. OK pro...

Re: Neural Net Endgame technique

One thing missing from the discussions are actual examples of endgames being 'solved' by a neural net so people just assume Leela's endgame weaknesses are a neural net feature. I hope to rectify this in this post and hopefully any future discussions might take these examples into consideration. (I'...
