Re: In ten years Stockfish or Komodo will beat Nakamura with Knight Odds
With Computer 4 times fasters and much better Engines than today  He would have a pretty difficult time even today, especially if it were a blitz match. Computers don't feel time pressure. I'm nearly even with Dragon at 10' + 5" at knight odds now (MCTS or standard mode doesn't seem to mat...

Questions for komodo team
I am using the lower levels of komodo 12.1.1 to do some random play vs non random play tests. Unfortunately, even with "variety" set to 20 for levels 0,1,2,3 it doesn't seem to work, It will mean that I will use a small book to determine the difference and / or from each other. However, the result o...

Re: An idea for new Handicap games for dragon
Anyway I wanted to share a lc0 j92-330 defeat with 10 nodes/move, which should simulate blitz 2900 elo FIDE or 2600 elo rapid FIDE (!!) However, I don't think lc0 simulated the human well here: [Event "?"] [Site "?"] [Date "2020.11.28"] [Round "?"] [White "Player"] [Black "Player"] [Result "1-0"] [...

Re: An idea for new Handicap games for dragon
I'd like to see a human win a match (not a single game), with faster time control but the same odd. However, I doubt that such a competition can be created, I believe few would really be interested, unless it becomes popular like with the komodo challange, up to play against komodo boss, even withou...

Re: Dragon versus Nakamura
One way to justify more handicap is by playing FRC. In Fischer Random, the human is out of the comfort zone and has to extemporize from scratch. Based on my testing, Dragon is nearly on par Stockfish in FRC. So Dragon is not necessarily weaker in Fischer Random. Yes, CCRL has already confirmed our o...

Re: Dragon vs GM Nakamura Analog Handicap Match
I do think now that Dragon will crush Penguin at Knight handicap at 1+1 ! Incredible performance from Kromodo. I am NOT too sure about that Humans under pressure blunder, but a Knight is a Knight and if penguin is at least 2450 he might beat Komodo MCTS as long as he keep a fortress up to the point...
