Re: Virtual Sample Game of Real Chess Shatranj
One more important thing... only handful people know why Knight moves in L shape.... Why L shape and any other moves by Knight...current L shape has no meaning and does not explain how it jumps or why it moves like this.. Respecting FIDEs penetration of knight move in people's mindset I have not dis...

Re: Virtual Sample Game of Real Chess Shatranj
If my health goes well and time permits me then I will upload the edited document... As i dig deeper on the current doxument, there could be contradicting statements due to lack of proof reading... Re: Virtual Sample Game of Real Chess Shatranj
Just because right now there doesn't seem to be someone that is able to understand or has enough interest to implement the rules doesn't mean that there will never be someone in the future that does. But it's important to know the full ruleset before starting an implementation, because some early d...

Re: Should FIDE Create a No Castling Championship ?
That is just wishful thinking. Up to this point it has taken many years of lobbying effort to make Chess960 become a thing OTB. Re: Should FIDE Create a No Castling Championship ?
I wonder if new tools for opening preparation could not help to lower the draw rates in classical chess? Like the true percentile output in Fat Fritz that displays the expected wins, draws and losses, for a variation. Also better opening training software, like the (hopefully) upcoming Chess Positi...

Re: Kramnik Idea to abolish draws should be used in Championship...
Abolishing castling is not the correct adjustment. I think only a little portion of chess playerbase will accept and adapt to that. " It looks like a strange step backwards. Why not instead, for instance, allow flexible castling? " r3k2r/pppq1ppp/1bnpbn2/1B2p3/4P3/2NPBN1P/PPPQ1PP1/R3K2R w KQkq - 0 ...

Re: Virtual Sample Game of Real Chess Shatranj
Oh, right, the file you provided contains individual images that can be uploaded so people can take a look at the game without having to download . One more thing... I have not disclosed Kings special rules in doc and also about some four corners which are Naglog (no mans land).. These are currentl...
