Miss Leela is my chess sparring partner for quite a while now.

I recommend you install and use banksiagui.com for her front-end as Miss Leela hasn't applied her makeup until Banksia joined her.

Longest against Leela

While I am quite fond of its slow positional style, I am not too happy with its ability to aggressively attack after gaining both significant positional and material advantage. It leads to a somewhat boring game generally speaking. I continue to think that the descendent will re-emphasize the attack...

Banksia question - disabling the intended move arrow of the opponent

Is there a way to disable that?

I'd rather the opponent's move be a surprise with no information provided during its thinking.

Alas, I just looked at it and they are only up to the 6-men tablebases.

I'll need to put all this on a largish external drive to get the 17 tb of the 7-men tablebases
in addition to the existing 150gb-160gbish 6-men tablebases.

Thanks - I found I already had them up in the cloud and have linked the cloud link to my Banksia+Leela combo on the two Mac's. Looking good now. It's about 161gb so hopefully that's about right. If people don't say the modern Leela and other programs can play like Tal did and more accurately, I've been sold by this one experience on the issue. Wild.
