Re: what may be two firsts...

Hi Michael, .... or should that say ‘what may be three firsts...’ With your McBrain Engine also on our DGT Pi’s. LCZero is an intriguing prospect for a future Picochess / DGT Pi Engine though. I’m glad I can help .. Al Yes indeed , we have three firsts - all of which are directly attributable to Al...

what may be two firsts...

We now have 6 man syzygy tablebases loaded on a DGT-PI chess computer ( using a 256 GB micro SD card) and my friend Alan Cooper has a working copy of Leela Chess Zero working on a DGI-Pi Chess computer. The DGT-PI chess computer can be hooked up to either a DGT eboard or DGT smart board or to a Reve...

Re: New test suite "Tactical Insanity"

Sure Bernard, but Dann can't be faulted for not seeing the fortress. I just rely on the output from Stockfish and if Stockfish can't find more than this with a full rook even after checking the end of the PV, no progress at all, I just tend to believe there is nothing more. Re: Good low cost web hosting

Slightly off topic I guess so I hope the mods don't mind. Our existing CCRL iPage web hosting expires in a couple of months, and the price increase on it is huge so we are look at alternatives. Can anyone recommend decent low-cost hosting that doesn't have tight disk space restrictions (we need up ...

Peter How do you change engines in the Millenium Chess Genius Exclusive(MCGE)? Since I just acquired a MCGE , th...

Re: WAC cleaned and revised (201 positions)

I spent a good deal of time reviewing the WAC (Win at Chess) positions to remove positions with wrong solutions, multiple solutions, or ones that can be 'solved' but for the wrong reasons. I.e. playing a move for a perpetual instead of seeing the win. I also removed WAC 230, a notorious position as...

Re: Komodo 12 and MCTS

Christ, dude, we heard you the first time... WTF IS it with this forum? Why is a civil conversation so damn difficult? :? Well you can now just use the "add foe" option to the profile of the user that does not know how to be civil. Then all post from that user will be hidden from you. Great option,...
