Re: New Houdini?

If there is a good idea that R. Houdart can mine out of the Leela project, it could be injected, for those who have Cuda cards. Nothing wrong with that. I hope he does it. Or something else to make it stronger. It is already a goto guy for tactical toughies. Surely we're only talking about implemen...

New Houdini?

When can we expect a new Houdini?

After "Houdini Reproduced Robbolito" and "Houdini Shifted Stockfish" can we look forward to "Houdini Loosed Leela"?

Re: TCEC Season 12 with Stockfish Zero aka Leela Chess Zero

Progress is clearly flattening out: http://lczero.org/ And the graph is exponential along the y axis. I am not in familiar with LeelaCZ but with LeelaZ. If the progress stalls they will switch to a bigger Network. Before that they will squeeze everything out of the small network because testing is ...

Re: LCZero update

Hi. I explored some games on the given link http://162.217.248.187/user/GaryS But the blunderfeasted games are nowhere near 2000 elo IMO. Am I missing something? The ELO value has nothing to do with the usual ELO values. Leela Zero Go is now near 10.000 ELO in its selfplay list, catching up the str...

It is human vs. AI.

Go AI is more related to chess AI than human chess.

If you don't like this thread, why do you bring it back to the front page?

Re: Fritz 14 software and .uci configuration files

According to UCI specs it's Ponder=false The same specification recommends letting the GUI handle it. Any reason you cannot follow this recommendation? The Ponder-Option is just an information for the engine. Pondering is handled by the GUI. If you force Ponder=Off the engine will ponder anyway but...

Re: Deep Synapse RZ6

Say a friend copies a book, and hands you the copy, claiming he wrote it himself. Nice example. When someone here claims a book is not original he has to handle arguments like: -The new book is half the size, so it must be original. -He started with another book but he rewrote everything. -There is...

Re: Cute Chess 0.9.4 released

What a wonderful GUI! By now some features are missing but it is aleady very comfortable and good looking, the handling of the windows and the speed is amazing! I found a little issue witch CuckooChess: In tournament mode cutechess sometimes creates games like this: [Event "B-1"] [Site "Stgt"] [Date...
