If a tournament claims the title of "World Championship" but either fails to: i) Allow the strongest chess entities to participate (n/a here) ii) The strongest chess entities can't / don't want to participate then questions do need to be asked how it is a "World Championship", and not just a normal ...

Thanks. For me any difference in strength between SF and Lc0 is insignificant, what matters is that they could not be more different in how they play chess. Lc0 plays blitz like a super-GM might play correspondence chess (unaided), whereas SF plays very unhuman chess. After a few seconds, Lc0 score...

The difficult part is that how does one say the hardware is equal - and one cannot. Essentially ,we're comparing two different breeds of cats and they both have a lot of plusses for what they can do. Thanks, that's an excellent explanation... But people have found ways to do it, using formulas base...
