SSD and the use of Tablebases

I am in the process of replacing some of my HDs with the new SSDs. Things started few months ago when the HD on my laptop started to go bad. My friend who owns a computer shop suggested that I replace regular HD with the SSD. When he was done the booting speed of the computer dropped to about 15-20 ...

Re: Windows 8 Begins to Convince me....

The new concept, kind of a personal PC at once in the screen and some oth...

Re: To Catch Houdini- 1st You Have To Shut Up!

Why are you obsessed with catching Houdini? Why do you think that others even care about Houdini? Let alone talk about it? Is George really obsessed. You did not get it, man. They all get it crystal clear alright, but it exposes their inadequecies so much that they would rather play dumb th...

Re: To Catch Houdini- 1st You Have To Shut Up!

Fruit is open source and Ivanhoe is open source. So all programmers have the same info available to them. Use it to catch Robert, Vas- or both. The ones who had already tried knew it was futile. It is important- because it tells you why you cannot catch Houdini and another program whose last release...

Re: To Catch Houdini- 1st You Have To Shut Up!

Except for 1 programmer I would like to see catch Houdini (and he knows who he is), I don't have a horse in this race. But all I have to do is go thru this whole page of garbage to see the programmers who for sure have no chance of ever catching Robert. I put the challenge on the table with Vas and...

Re: To Catch Houdini- 1st You Have To Shut Up!

Why are you obsessed with catching Houdini? Why do you think that others even care about Houdini? Let alone talk about it? Serious question: What would you suggest? What should a community do with really obsessed people in fora? Shouldn't the community protect such people from themselfes by...
