Re: About ProDeo 2.2

thanks, I already had that parameter set to 2.

a7 was found by slave immediately, so was just curious that the master just went ahead with its ordinary thinking, while ignoring the slaves better choice. Looks like there is no way for the 2 engines to communicate.

About ProDeo 2.2

Concerning the Master/Slave engine concept. When the slave produces a better move it is not always chosen as the move played. I thought if it produced a better move within the .25 default difference it would be played. But at times the master engine just analyses a different move and that becomes th...

Re: Best way to test Prodeo in tournament comp vs comp?

Thanks for the replys ...

I made sure to add delay for reloading engines was set.
But still no luck.

But then I switched to Prodeo uci version and it seemed to remain solid.

Also it could be my win 10 or even my virus software. or the who knows really.

Best way to test Prodeo in tournament comp vs comp?

couple of questions ... do I run in winboard mode or uci? also, I tried Arena 5.1 but in a 40 game match it never completes as often the engines do not load all the time so many games show losss on time after 1 move (these I run prodeo as winboard. Am i missing some way to make the Arena 5.1 more st...

Re: Can White win this?

Looks like kingside play is white's only hope of a possible win.
Maybe h5 with Qd2 next? Depending what black does, Rg1 or h6 in some order.

Some shots for Black to be careful of are Ng6 or even e6 under favourable circumstances.

Re: 5 years after ... any progress?

Thanks Dann. It's this sequence of moves that are suspect ... 32. Bxd2 Bh5 33. Kg2 Bd1 34. c3 Be2 35. Kf2 Bd3 Normally placing a Bishop on the centralized d3 is good but here not so. I'm wondering if black can hold on to a draw after move 35? It's a fun position with lots of variants, but as mention...

5 years after ... any progress?

[D] 6k1/p4b1p/1p5P/2p2pP1/2P1pP2/1P6/P1PB3K/8 b - - 0 32 This position from Komodo 1.3b1 vs Protector 1.36 from Martin Thoresen's Tournament (2010 division 2). In this opposite colored bishop game most if not all engines play the same sequence for black, eventually landing there bishop on d3. A draw...
