I have seen that Sylvain modified the sources 6 years ago, but I thought the last version was from 2009. However in the readme file it says that it is version 2.2.3 of 2009. Yes I've added in the search and in the qs too : After unmake move ( ); If (fin recherche) Return 0; Didn't test yet to return +INFINITE instead of 0 .. yes, but it is required for some engines written in Python Then what you need is download the library, not compile it, you already have python installed ( https://www.python.org/downloads/windows/ ) so just run this command to install the library pip install python-chess[engine,gaviota] That's all ...

It's not a chess engine
python-chess is a pure Python chess library with move generation, move validation and support for common formats
