Re: Zahak, a GoLang based chess engine
I got a virus warning from the zahak-windows-amd64-0.3.0.exe compile. I'm sure it's fine, as Windows Defender seems to be very finicky with programs written in Go for some reason, Counter being another example of a program whose compiles generate bogus antivirus warnings. https://www.virustotal.com/...

Re: The PSTs of Carnivor
I noticed a bit of asymmetry in some of the PST values. Is that intentional?

Re: First original Tikov release? (someone?)
I do have an April 24, 2001 version, which I have uploaded here: http://tonyschess.x10host.com/tikov06.rar This one doesn't print a version number when you issue the protover 2 command. I suppose the reason why I used the 0.6 version number is because that was the name of the archive when I download...

Re: First original Tikov release? (someone?)
OK, I have uploaded it here:
http://tonyschess.x10host.com/tikov100.rar
It works for me in Arena. Arena automatically fills in
/secondProtocolVersion /xreuse2
as command line parameters.

Re: First original Tikov release? (someone?)
I have a compile dated May 24, 2001, with accompanying source code. The exe is named tikov100, but when I run it the version number is reported as 0.6.2. I think it's from Dann Corbit's site. I am not sure if this is the one you are looking for.

Re: Weird behaviour of Pigeon 1.51 - Help requested
https://rwbc-chess.de/download.htm Somehow I can't find Pigeon in your collection. Did you try a refresh? - it there since hours. I was having the same issue, and I tried refreshing and also logging in to my Google account, and no luck. I see your recent upload of Berzerk, but not Pigeon.

Re: Arena autodetection for CECP/XBoard
There were a few compiles made by Jim Ablett which integrated Crafty and WB2UCI into one executable, so that Crafty was usable within Chessbase GUIs without requiring a separate adapter. 25.1 is the most recent "UCI" version that I have.

Re: Sargon 1978 UCI Available
I wonder if Dan and Kathe are aware of how much interest people still have in their old program. It would be cool to see the source of a later version, though who knows if they would even have the rights to that. I had a lot of fun playing Sargon II on the VIC-20.

Re: Why Isn't Arena Gui Updated
The Linux version was last updated only a year ago. I wonder why Martin has not provided an update for Windows. Arena is written in Delphi, so he should be able to provide a package for both operating systems.
