What on earth is going on in the second game that Lc0 won ???? I thought trolling play was fixed with the latest net???!!!! There must have been at least a 50 move shorter win! Also this under promoting thing has to get fixed ... really annoying to see an alien like strong engine play these silly m...

It is not exactly a 2 TB ssd. Rather, it is 10x 2TB drives arranged in "raid 10".

Lc0 misevaluates the starting position of knight odds. Lc0 plays chess very well.

With a little more work, one could make a proof showing the evaluation of odds starting positions are poor indicators of a NN's ability to evaulate standard chess positions.

Updating engines mid-tournament

For engine-engine tournaments, common practice is use one version of each engine for the duration of the event. Mid-event upgrades are not allowed.

1. what's the reason for this?
2. are there exceptions?
