Re: Where are the funs of Leela?

I agree these NN are very strong. But I did a quick visit at CCC site for the currrent tourn, and was suprised to see Brainfish was demolishing Lc0 left and right. Don't know what's wrong but looks like it is vengeance time for A/B side.

Nice, system. Can surely run Lc0 and other NN engines too with its NVIDIA GTX 16-Series.

Re: Where are the funs of Leela?

I should like to read some interpretation about the results of Leela in TCEC 15. Champion Bonus. Where is the "New Era"? As already mentioned by some, this leela is too young and there's huge room for improvement. A bit of patches here and there might make this deadlier than it is now. Compared to ...

Re: Finding that 'Only Move'

What about Rg8 by black? Then Rh1-h7. After Rd8xd6 and Rd1xd6, White threatens to take the bishop on e6 with check. The covering pawn on f7 is pinned because of the queen on b7. Then black can simply play Qc8. ( To defend bishop on e6 and avoid pin ). And white will lose with material deficit. Actu...

Re: about the term of equal hardware

Okay, another try, let us assume the best software is those which makes best use of the transistors given on a specific chip. So let us compare the transistor count and the clock frequency of TCEC hardware: Nvidia RTX 2080 TI: 18.6 billion transistors clocked with max 1.545 GHz Nvidia RTX 2080: 13....

Even Leela avoids the direct 3.d4 move and prefers 3.Bb5 instead. Re: Finding that 'Only Move'

Excellent game nice to see that tricky Rh1 saves your day. It is always fun to trap a queen especially if you're in the winning side. Thrilling to win in a 1min vs 1min online bullet (lightning) when I managed, luckily, to trap my opponents Q. [Event "Live Chess"] [Site "Chess.com"] [Date "2019.05.2...

Re: Test set from TCEC15 superfinal between Lc0-Sf

Save the pos and its actual move as bm in epd from the games if: 1. The side to move in the position wins the game. 2. The score_cp <= 300 in the move comment from actual game. 3. bestmove of Stockfish 10 at 1 sec of analysis and actual move in the game are not the same. (Same move would most likel...
