Re: Slow Chess Blitz Classic

I've played nearly 300 chess960 games so far under Cutechess GUI, no problems at all :)

It is easily over 3000 Elo on that list. It is hard to compare the Elo numbers on the standard 40/4 list and the chess960 one. Different database and less engines on chess960.

Re: Slow Chess Blitz Classic

OK good, I was going to use UCI but though it was worth checking.

The standard chess results are from another tester.

I suggested that too as the first suggestion. He responded that rules have to be strict, unambiguous and cover all cases without need of any human interpretation.
Ridiculous response, that could never work

Re: My failed attempt to change TCEC NN clone rules

The whole clone and derivatives issue is a minefield. So many different opinions and viewpoints and "definitions". I would advise Anton to replace any clone "rules" with a simple statement "engines are entered at our sole discretion" then there are no arguments about rules being followed or not. Job...

chess960 should work now.
Indeed it does, I played 300 games overnight without any issues. Gábor ran it at standard chess earlier in the week, and it shows +180 Elo, and chess960 is the same so far.

Re: which is strongest NN network for cpu only?

OK, I'll rephrase the question. What is the best network and settings for any NN on 7 threads of an 8 core, very fast i7 machine? LD2 is beating 11248 on that config by 345 elo in my current test, so the question is whether some other network is even better, and whether default settings are appropr...
