Re: Could someone do a Demolito compile please ?

Tirsa's compile was used to test it here: http://ccrl.chessdom.com/ccrl/404FRC/ It seems Tirsa did not announce it openly in the CCRL forum. Will this compilation be available for all users? Sure, I'll post it in the CCRL Public forum. http://kirill-kryukov.com/chess/discussion-board/viewtopic.php?...

its easy to add a new uci option if most of the code is already written
Then after the developers do that it will be able to play chess960 in a GUI. It can't at the moment.

Re: CCRL 40/40, 40/4 and FRC lists updated (13th April 2019)

AllieStein has the capability of playing Chess960, it is the first NN Engine that could participate in FRC. https://github.com/manyoso/allie/blob/7a071b9ccec3f14f5d3e6be9b723de2745b5a854/lib/settings.h#L28 I didn't know that. But you have to subscribe and pay for the networks it uses ? EDIT: it has...

Re: 32930 Boost network available

https://github.com/dkappe/leela-chess-weights/wiki/Boost-Networks Based on my hypothesis on what was the critical element in the success of Antifish, this is 32930 sharpened with CCRL games at a low learning rate and a very few steps. Seems to give around 30 elo extra than the original net. I'll be...

Your 41665 vs 32930 gains are fairly similar to the games we are seeing of 41800 vs 32930. I look forward to your 41800 numbers to see how they compare. Thanks for your testing !

Re: The Last Survivor of AB engine, Stockfish! What position will Stockfish stand?

It is even worst then this. This is such a lopsided tournament in favor of the NN engines. Lc0 is very strong on insanely expensive hardware, no doubt about that. But in the real world, take an 8-core Ryzen at around £300 and an RTX 2060 at about £300 also - which is going to be the stronger engine...

Re: Longest games

Check out the insanity of this game where it takes Lc0 almost 300 moves to checkmate: [Event "40 Moves in 3 min"] [Site "Engine Match"] [Date "2019.04.07"] [Round "33"] [White "Lc0 v0.21.1 nn41800 GPU"] [Black "Houdini 6 x64-popc"] [ECO "A40"] [Result "1-0"] 1. d4 {book 0s} e6 {book 0s} 2. Bf4 {book...

Re: Longest games

If you play Lc0 with all adjudication turned off (which I do), you get excruciatingly long games.
