Re: Man 1, Machine 0, ... 2018

Amazing.
Especially the Rc1-c2-c1-c2-c1-c2-c1-c2-c1-c2-c1-c2 moves.
And later, Rc2-e2-c2-e2-c2-e2-c2-e2-c2-e2-c2-e2-c2-e2.

The translation is also amazing.
Did you translate it yourself or was it a machine one?

Re: Houdini 6 - Initial position until depth 50

Some encouraging news: - SF sees occasionally 1. c4 as the best move, while simultaneously doing kingside fianchetto in that line, and - Houdini sees kingside fianchetto, g3, Bg2, as the best development option I am happy I was able to predict 1. c4 and kingside fianchetto are best options before th...

Re: The secret of TalkChess

Yeah, I got mails from both Brendam J. Norman, ChessCognac and a couple of others.
Some have attachments, so I am even afraid to open them.

Here one message: Image

You have multiple emails, just like your accounts, you can send from wherever you want.

Re: The secret of TalkChess

But there is only a single mod here - HGM. The other 2 don't take part into decision-making in any way. Well, to satisfy your curiosity: I did decide to move the thread to the archive on my own, after Harvey had already locked it You obviously did not read the thread properly so far. Hint: Harvey i...

Re: The secret of TalkChess

Harvey, did YOU really lock the thread, or is HGM lying? If so, please be so kind to unlock and restore it. You promised me something in a PM, but you are doing precisely the opposite. This is an important thing, locking and removing a whole thread. Did you consult the 3 of you, or just one locked, ...

Re: The secret of TalkChess

Well, to satisfy your curiosity: I did decide to move the thread to the archive on my own, after Harvey had already locked it, informing Harvey by PM of my action. I don't feel inhibited to take such a solo action, because the thread can always be moved back if the other moderators would not agree....

Re: The secret of TalkChess

1) It is a normal way of proceeding when a mod wants to have the opinion of other mods to have a consensus driven decision. I'm not sure this happened. It's not clear if HGM decided to delete the thread on his own. 2) It gives time to the participants to cool down. There is nothing so urgent here o...
