Re: PGN standard

Years ago Tord Romstad suggested to create a PGN replacement format in https://www.reddit.com/r/chess/comments ... gn_format/
Does anyone know was it evolved to something concrete?

Re: Carlsen is leading the Online Invitation LIVE

May I ask mods to move this to other forum, please? It is related to COMPUTER chess because it's the first time in history where such a tournament happens online and people had to use COMPUTERS to connect to a server and play each other. This had no precedent as before you'd attend the events in pe...

May I ask mods to move this to other forum, please? Thx! p.s. I hate avoiding posts I'm not interested at all when I come here...

Re: You can run your engine on lichess.org now

In "uci_options" section you can add any additional UCI option you like.
config.yml.default is just a skeleton example config file to provide something users can start with.

What silly rule is that? It defies all logic. I propose to drop that rule.

Re: Engines playing Musketeer Chess, good price

I have fixed all bugs including pinned pieces and promotions and now it matches all your perfts. I still don't like the pinned piece logic though -- it means gating is not really uncovering a piece. Also since I allow king captures (and do not check legality of move beforehand) in, pinning was a bi...

Re: best server for computers to play variants currently?

My game, Castle Siege Chess, uses a board that merges a 6x6 square board into the center of a circular board. I have previously used Zillions of Games script to program it with high success, but Zill...
