Re: Lc0 ... the GOOD and the BAD
Lc0 and A0 has shown, that tactics are not so important at all. They have very small impact to rating obviously. Only important in tactical test suites :) . Teichmann said that chess was 99% tactics, computers have proven that wrong. :D Pick a new number. True. Actually, Stockfish's tactical power ...

Re: End of Era is there: SF is finally beaten!
Very true ... I think that SF even on 1000 cores would still lose to Lc0 some pretty spectacular games. I mean just look at yesterday's loss ... out of the opening and each engine plays a few moves by itself and you have this position Thanks for the game, it is absolutely amazing!! I am a follower ...

Re: King and knight locked together
It is curious that in a test to show the randomness of Lc0 it is Stockfish who caught this randomness playing differently in the second round, winning with 9.h4! in a splendid attack game. [Event "Alvarox2_15p1"] [Site "J-PC"] [Date "2019.02.01"] [Round "55"] [White "Stockfish_10_x64_popcnt"] [Black...

King and knight locked together
Another incredible position was reached in the following game, where Stockfish 10 played White on 6 cores i7 980X and AF125 on 2xGTX1060 with 15 minutes plus 1 second time control. After 7 moves of Two Knights Defense from pgn, both engines playing by themselves followed the recommended variant of H...

Re: Big boost in strength for LC0 by simply changing VGA card
I did another 3_2 game, this time 50 games with the new settings and it seems score is very similar to the initial 20 game set. Lc0 is at +16 -6 and the rest draws after 40 games. This is around +90 ELO which is quite impressive. Again this is with no books. I have to say I am really impressed. The...

Re: Novelty in the Sicilian Najdorf and interesting plan of Lc0 AF228
I am doing a test with Lc0 32472, AF125 and AF228 against Stockfish 10, and some nice games are showing up. Hi, where were you able to get AF228 and AF125? I first tried doing a Google search for Antifish, but websearch engines are completely useless nowadays. :( Thanks, CL Here https://drive.googl...

Novelty in the Sicilian Najdorf and interesting plan of Lc0 AF228
I am doing a test with Lc0 32472, AF125 and AF228 against Stockfish 10, and some nice games are showing up. The BalsaTop_25 test suite has been used and the Sicilian Najdorf has provided interesting games. Lc0 on 1060x2, SF10 on i7 980X 6 cores, at 5 minutes plus 1 sec. AF228 played the novelty 12.....

Re: Two GPUs
I am also thinking of setting up 2 GPU's for LC0. So is this code to be added to the .dll files? How do you get Leela to use both GPU's on CB GUI? Just install the UCI engine and add an edited .txt file? How about if you do setup in SLI, will LC0 consider 2 x GPU's as one GPU if SLI or Crossfire is...
