Re: Alphazero news

Just ignore Milos. He's just an old-school Commie (apart from being the most negative person I've ever seen) who thinks that all Private Enterprise is bad.
Or probably has some Psychiatric Disorder and doesn't take his Meds regularly.

Re: LCZero GPU memory requirements?

I don't understand why you want to buy a Card which is already obsolete. With the steady improvement of Lc0 and possible commercialization of AlphaZero, the Gamers with the fastest and best Graphic Cards (not the CPU any longer) will have the advantage. If I was in the market for a new Graphic Card,...

Re: LC0 network 31740 vs Stockfish 10

Except your joke doesn't work, because to even run an OS and chess engines you need a CPU. A GPU alone can't even boot the computer. I can also beat Leela and Stockfish at Tetris and Pacman easily. I'll repeat what I already said to Milos and you quoted: Not my joke, and even if it were, if all jok...

There was news Robert had been employed by a company to work full time
Wish he would join Google and then release a Houdini-AlphaZero hybrid that would beat the mickey out of the Stockfishes/Komodos

Re: A tactical crash of Stockfish

I have also seen this kind of thing. When LC0 is good, it's very good, and once in a while it finds something that the deep searchers just miss. But it doesn't do it all the time, and once in a while it shows a blind spot, too. --Jon That's the problem in a nutshell....no CONSISTENCY. Once this pro...
