Re: Is AlphaZero-LC0 (Leela0) A chess Engine?

Sorry for off-topic, but could anybody give me a link to lc0 network (weights file) which played in TCEC-15 Superfinal? As I know it is not a regular net available from the official lc0 site.

Re: LC0 For Android!!! History Made!!

It would be really nice to have something like go playing Leela: https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... android.aq
When you install application from the Market and it just works - all work with weights being handled in internal dialogs/settings of the program.

I hope in a year or two, Igel will beat Stockfish on the same time control and the same hardware :-) Currently in all my tests the elo difference between them is infinity.
Stockfish is obsolete, lc0 seems to be a more worthy goal :)

Re: Elements of the ULTIMATE Chess GUI?

Support of ultra-fast time controls (like CUTECLI, unlike Arena). Non-equal time controls (for example, engine A: nodes per move, engine B: fixed depth).

I see that it is also possible to combine two neural networks. One as the main engine and one as the AuxEngine. Interesting.
And then add a third NN to decide which one to use.
But... isn't it equivalent to having just one, larger, network?

Re: deepmind's alphastar beats pros in starcraft ii

But realtime factor is always in favor of computer. I am almost sure that decent 2300-2400 chess engine can easily beat Carlsen in bullet. But it can't beat him at longer time control. I am not sure that you are right. It may be interesting to try stockfish that is slowed down by a significant fact...

Results in chess and go were much more impressive to me. Maybe because I always knew that computer can "click his mouse" faster than any human.

Re: TCEC 14 - what happened to the final?

It was not the final. It was a test match LZ vs. SF8, with idea to replicate conditions of AZ-SF match described in Deep Mind articles.

Well, this is end of an era for Houdini and Komodo.
This mean Leela become 99.9% best engine within a year!
Beating SF will become 100%.
After 0-2 vs. S and K this table looks a bit outdated.
