Re: Piece square tables

Hi Interresting topic , as I'm working on Isa's psqt from time to time. I've tested to order the moves by psqt , but leaved this idea because it confused me a little bit , as I'm using two tables (middle and endgame) with tappered eval . You can't use always the MG or EG tables to order moves becaus...

I'm only in it for fun. Computer-chess makes you poor, you don't want to know how much money I spent on it during my lifetime.
Still better than powdering my nose.
+1 😊
Isa will play of course

Re: Question for Ed Shroder

And they already started fighting ! A worthy CTF successor, for sure. They seem particularly pissed off that people calling you names were not treated with the respect they thought that deserved. It was really insulting to them to be publicly told they couldn't do that; they feel more at home...

Congratulations to Alexander (Drofa author) for winning this division and gaining promotion for the next series. :)

The tournament was one of my most popular.
The broadcast was well supported. Thanks. :P
You see ? My horse won 😉

Re: Question for Ed Shroder

That is just an external image, hosted off-site, which first has to be prepared elsewhere, right? Nothing like the FEN button we have here. And the second link (is that supposed to be the game?) is just a video on youtube, which doesn't even work when you try to play it. Not impressive... Yes stay ...

Re: Question for Ed Shroder

Sure, I was just discussing the technical merits of the new forum for computer chess . For people wanting to post on politics for a very small audience, the new forum is of course ideal, and TalkChess is not an option at all. +1000 😊 -1000 to myoung (don't know his name) and Mclane (bruce Willis ? ...

Re: Hardware problems again?

Remember it happened to me the last year , when I did some texel tuning ( many computations) my notebook was very hot and a strange noise also.
I've changed the thermal paste and now It seems ok.
Also now I use another external small fan

Re: Mayhem NNUE - New NN engine

The harder part comes in training your own net for TonysTest instead of relying on Stockfish's network. Of course. This was just an experiment, and not something I will include in my final version. Plus, I am teasing Dany a little bit, as we were chatting online about NNUE earlier in the day. 😂 Ple...

Re: Mayhem NNUE - New NN engine

Actually MY engine Sapeli was around 2300 Elo: See https://lichess.org/@/SapeliEngine Too much lag. I won't play over TCP/IP ever. But Mayhem is Sapeli. And GPLv3 like Stockfish. So no problem with some copy paste. We all know the Lichess ratings are not very accurate ... https://www.computerchess....
