Re: FGRL rating comparison 1 min - 10 min - 60 min

The difference between 10 min and 60 min is very small, maybe in the error bar range. You could almost stop your 60 min list.

Re: 2080 Ti

Since FP16 is not enabled in 20xx cards the same it wasn't enabled in 10xx cards the only gain is those 15% in extra CUDA cores and higher frequency. Therefore 2080Ti will be faster than 1080Ti for exactly those 15%. Anyone who believes in some other magical speed-up is frankly speaking just daydre...

Re: Chess.com 2018 computer chess championship

Most test doesn't show Leela as strong as Stockfish dev at all and even below Komodo / Houdini. I find the result of this CCCC very accurate when I compare to the other test I saw. There is another thread, ? Leela official better than SF 9. some isolate test doesn't prove much. It wil mean somethin...

Re: MVL vs. Komodo handicap match

I agree. How do you feel about this match Larry ? Will you propose again the handicap Komodo lost ? Or will you try a new one ? I m still interested to see a GM against Komodo at 1 + 1 against a big handicap. Maybe Komodo would even win at queen handicap at bullet ? :) Could be extra match. With al...

Re: CCCC Rapid Rumble results simulator

It is easy to predict even with a short tournament , because each engine is ranked with a good margin over the other, except Komodo / Houdini. So Stockfish is number 1 with a good margin, Lc0 number 4 with a good margin, then Fire, then Shredder, so the probability to have the number in the good or...
