Re: Myopic, a new Creative Commons chess program

Hi :) I hope everything's better now. Congrats on writing the engine. Does it have anything to do with this engine also called Myopic? ( https://www.chessprogramming.org/Myopic ) I know I read or heard the name somewhere before. If it doesn't, you might want to change the name, or differentiate it ...

Mayhem is Sapeli written in C++14 + SF NNUE evaluation. Thanks to Maksim simplifying off DirtyPiece/etc crap! Release: https://github.com...

Re: What in the world can that be?!

Bonjour Charly, You've set up the wrong position. Indeed, your moves involve a Black fianchetto leading to a Leningrad Dutch. However, that is NOT the position that Dann provided. Please re-read his post. All the best, -Steve- Bonjour Stephen, The position Dann showed is the basis of the Leningrad ...

Re: INTERESTING Engines with Unique Styles (Unlike SF)

This is a fresh thread for Thorsten's idea of making a list of all "interesting" engines. For me, in no particular order, they are: Teki 2 Thinker 5.1c Passive Baron 1.8.1 Gandalf 6 WChess 1.06 Vajolet 2.03 ProDeo 1.0-1.6 (assuming no personality used) ZuriChess Graubuenden Alfil 8.11 Stash 21.0 (n...
