Re: Komodo 13 released

Couple of days ago i made up this position. And i find it quite amazing that Komodo is capable of holding this position as white, whereas SF loses as white. Komodo know white got long term compensation, even black is pure exchange ahead. The defensive outpost on d4 and in addition of opposite-colore...

Re: Trying out the Leela Hybrid engine (NN with AB)

What's leela's assessment of this position. Komodo held it against SF Dev, draw after 5 hours and 13 minutes. Re: Queen trapped in the corner

Stockfish as black is able to win against Komodo and Komodo as black usually ends as draw. Is the position winning for black or it is somehow possible for white to atleast play for draw. More often than not, opposite-colored bishops endings provide the side down material some hope for draw in the lo...

Re: Komodo 13.01 MCTS - chess960 results and site updated

It appears white has a considerable advantage in the drawkiller opening position. Based on my testing so far. The name is surely living up to it's name by far. i7-5960X 4.5GHz | 8-Core | 4096 Mb per engine | 5-men probing + automatic 6-men adjudication [Event "i7-5960X 4.5GHz"] [Site "i7-5960X 4.5GH...

Re: The Bryntse Gambit

There is a very similar line. This line is more sound for white. Why do you think it's more sound? The different Black pawn placement doesn't make SF (at low depth) like it any more than the first line. Well, K13.01 held against latest brainfish. I remember that in the original line, K almost alway...
