Re: The Last Survivor of AB engine, Stockfish! What position will Stockfish stand?

During the match they use for AB engines a server with 90 threads (HT = on) CPUs clock frequency 2.7 GHz and for NN engines 4xRTX 2080 Ti and a server with 36 physical cores (HT = off). The main issues for AB engines the short TC (5 min + 2sec) and they no use opening book. It would be a wonder if ...

Re: Raubfisch

The tricky part to understand about it being illegal is that they are breaking the law. I don't know why it is tricky but it seems to be hard to comprehend. That's all you need to understand. The engine is a GPL engine. The license for the use of this engine says that you must share the code change...

Re: ThothFishv1.0

This is a significant development, imo. We're finally getting a version of SF with a de facto adjustable smart contempt, including the ability to avoid trades, similar to what Komodo offers. A great feature to have and long awaited. In my test games, it shows it can deliver a mean game, preferring ...

Re: Stockfish based (ThothFishv1.0) Leela-Killer

In the old time developers think the opened positions give more opportunity to utilize the better tactical capacity of (AB type) engines. Maybe reacting to the effect of NN engines the developers of AB engines should think such a manner than it was in the past. But I think for a long run the competi...

Re: Lc0 wins, but Stockfish is still the best?

If one want to be correct that one have to give the circumstances of the test or tournament implying the time control and the used opening book too. In the sense of chess power obviously there is no correct method to make comparison between a CPU determined hardware and a GPU or TPU determined hard...

Can you make a Leelafish match against Stockfish?

Will Leelafish also win then?
GTX 1060 is too weak against Stockfish - even if another Stockfish helps it.

Re: Trying out the Leela Hybrid engine (NN with AB)

I made a test between Lc0 v.021 and Leelafish v.0.8. During the test I used a modified Leelafish named Lc0updFish what use fixed time instead of fixed depth for the auxiliary engine. The result is: Lc0updFish : Lc0 = 15 : 4 with 81 draws (= 100 games) Parameters: GPU - NVIDIA GTX 1060 CPU - AMD Ryze...

Congratulations.
Bat what you mean:
"...and that is Chess Fighter does not troll. It is strictly a no-troll engine."?
